We are a small, family operation dedicated in raising quality breeding stock and consistent quality Cashmere and meat products.

Our vision

By diversifying our farming operation within the goat industry, we are tapping into multiple marketing opportunities while raising all of our livestock under the same management practices.

At Spruce Haven Farms, we are dedicated to improving the quality of our breeding stock. Our goal is to raise hardy and dual purpose animals who would be an asset to any farming operation. We offer post sale support to all our customers no matter what the size of the purchase is.

We have chosen to diversify our farm by raising two different herds of goats to help us face the economical challenges facing some of today’s farming operations.

Cashmere Goats Breeding

These goats are a great dual purpose animal. Our Cashmere goats provide us with quality breeding stock, cashmere production, and our excess young bucklings are sold to the commercial meat market.

Meat Goat Breeding

Our meat herd provides us with both quality commercial breeding stock for sale and goat meat for retail sale.

Boer Goats

We raise a limited number of  traditional Boer goats to use in our cross breeding program as well as sale of breeding stock. Any animal that does not fit into our standards for quality is culled for meat.

Due to the genetic diversity in our breeding programs, we are able to offer starter herds to new goat breeders as well has new genetics for established operations.
